36 Days of Type is a project that invites designers, illustrators, and graphic artists to express their particular interpretation of the letters and numbers of the Latin alphabet. It is a yearly open call that explores the creative boundaries of letterforms where participants are challenged to design a letter or number each day for 36 consecutive days.
When embarking on the 36 days of type project I decided to stick solely to digital illustration, created and rendered in Cinema4D. The aim was to push the idea of the traditional daily render trend and stylistically needed to look different from each other. The overall process was extremely enjoyable and pushed me to create different looks in a very limited amount of time. The numbers and letters created had varying levels of success with a selection of my favourites below.
